Condolence: Dear O'Neal family
Please accept my deepest sympathy on Jim's passing. I had the utmost admiration for him. He was a family man all the way.. My fondest recollections are of him coaching little league baseball and supporting EBHS athletics. What a great sportsman he was.. Please know that while I cannot attend his service, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Hello David . I saw your Dad's farewell notice and immediately my mind went back to the little league baseball days when he was "Coach Jim" and taught me how to bat. I'll never forget that! He had a long journey........now he rests. "Stubby"

He and Rita always invited me into their home and treated me with nothing but kindness. A loving husband, father, pawpaw and friend. You be missed.

Condolence: He only was a simple man, not famous for his name,
Born not to wealth or privilege, just common as they came.
Yet he left more memories of helping those in need,
Than many who strive all their lives to impress and succeed.
At times he'd he'd be funny, sometimes very stern,
And the respect we gave him was well and truly earned.
I lost my Daddy years ago, and he helped fill that space.
He taught me things like how to live the right way in God's grace.
I watched this man give more and more, never being greedy,
He brought home strangers to dine with him and often helped the needy.
He cherished his wife , loved his kids, and gained respect from all.
I hope he knew how very much he was loved by us all. We'll miss you so much, with all my love. Sis.
