Lula Christine Young, 85, of Chesapeake died August 10, 2010 in CAMC General Hospital, Charleston after a short illness.

She was a Waitress at Waybrights Cafeteria and United Fuel Gas Company Cafeteria in Charleston and she was a member of Marmet Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by Husband: John Raymond Young on September 11, 1974,
Parents: Wilson D. and Crilda J. Martin Childers,
Sisters: Mary E. Childers, Sarah V. Bradshaw and Ruby W. Childers,
Nephews: Jesse M. Bradshaw, Jr. and John B. Childers, Jr.

Surviving Are:

Brothers: Keith D. and John B. Childers, Sr.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday August 12, 2010 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Damron Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Marmet Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
