Janet “Neen” Vance, 45, of Winifrede died July 3, 2010 at home after a long illness.

She was a former employee of Columbia Gas and The State of West Virginia Tobacco and Firearms Department. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Junior and Mae Tyree and Paternal Grandparents: Frank and Clairman Alderman.

Her loving husband: James “Nubbin” Vance of Winifrede,

daughter: Stephanie Webb (Michael) of Winifrede

Stepdaughter: Ashley Vance of Marmet

granddaughter: Hayley Miller of Winifrede.

Parents: Ronald and Betty Tyree Alderman

Brothers: Ronald (Jeri) Alderman, Jr. of Winifrede

Sister: Gina (Keith) Butcher of Winifrede

Nieces and Nephews: Ronald Alderman III, Katlin and Jared Butcher, Nathan, Josh, Dakota, Christopher, Jessica and Brittney Vance.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, WV with Rev. Jack Long officiating. Burial will follow in Massey Cemetery, Winifrede. Friends may call 2 hours prior to service at the Funeral Home.
