Obituary for Willard Isaacs

Willard  Isaacs
Willard Isaacs, 97, of Chesapeake, WV died January 10, 2010 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston nine days prior to his 98th Birthday.

The last surviving member of his generation, he was a Member of First Baptist Church of Chesapeake and retired from Cabot Baking Company, Charleston after working 19 years in the coal mines.

He was preceded in death by WIFE: Helen I. Isaacs on Dec. 15, 2003,
PARENTS: William and Sally Ann Brandenburg Isaacs,
SISTER: Alpha Isaacs and
BROTHERS: Leonard, Roy, Preston, Algin and Jasper Isaacs,

Surviving Are:

DAUGHTERS: Brenda Phalin and Husband Frederick of Williamsburg, VA
Jacqueline Burroughs and Husband Stafford of McAllen, TX

SON: Larry Isaacs and wife Elizabeth Ann of Fraser, Michigan

6 GRANDCHILDREN & 7 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Willard’s doctors T.V. Jaggannath, George Zaldivar, M.Imani, and Dr. Namay for their professional service and loving care over many years.

Funeral will be Noon Thursday January 14, 2010 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, WV with Rev. Tom Holstein officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in memory of Williard Isaacs to Kanawha Medical Center for the Charitable Services Fund that provides Medical Services for those who can’t afford it, 5314 MacCorkle Ave. Charleston, WV 25304.
