Bonnie Carol Peal, 74 of Marmet died July 26, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent cook and loved to garden, craft and sew. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by Son: Leon Peal Jr., Parents: James E. and Audra Morrison Smith, Sisters: Janet Sue Halstead, Mabel Thompson, Susie Letart, Shirley “Dottie” Anderson and Brothers: James Smith Sr., John Smith, Kenneth G. Smith, Ebb Smith and Gary Smith.

Surviving Are:

Husband of 57 years: Leon Franklin Peal of Marmet,

Daughters: Debra Leigh (John) Watson of Marmet,
Shirley Jane Craddock of Charleston,

Sisters: Margaret Harper,
Linda (Ray) Hall both of Braxton County,

Brother: Tommie Smith of Braxton County,

Grandson: Brandon Craddock,

Great Granddaughter: Isabelle Leigh Craddock,

Special Nieces and Nephew: Jenny Carr, Audra Crider and Michael Halstead and
Many other nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She also loved her puppies Paige and Linus.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday July 28, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Terry Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Marmet Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
