Freda Browning-Harless, 66, of Hernshaw, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.
She was born on May 30, 1951 to the late Evelyn and Harry “Babe” Harless, Sr.
Freda was a retired CAMC Memorial Dietitian and later worked at the hospital motel.
A lifelong resident of Hernshaw, she was a graduate of East Bank High School and attended the Lens Creek Church of the Nazarene.
She loved going to the Marmet Recreational Center and playing Bingo in her spare time.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Browning; brothers, Harold “Rube” Harless and Harry Harless, Jr.; and sister, Linda Teel.
She is survived by her step-son, James Browning of Hernshaw; daughter, Nadia Addine of Marmet; sisters, Kathleen Sullivan of Hernshaw and Helen Pomeroy of Hernshaw; brother, Donald Ray Harless of Hernshaw; grandchildren, Kanaz and Kenze Addine.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
