Sue Ellen Burney, 72 of Hurricane died March 7, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice West, South Charleston.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a longtime employee of Shoneys. She loved to camp and fish.

She was preceded in death by First Husband: Larry E. Stevenson,
Parents: James Elmer and Dora Walker Harrison,
Brothers: Harold and Larry Joe Harrison,
Sisters: Jane Estep and Mary Baire and
Grandchildren: Savannah and Miranda.

Surviving Are:

Husband: Ronnie Burney of Hurricane,

Sons: Larry (Jill) Stevenson of Huntington,
Robert (Kim) Stevenson of Surfside Beach, SC,

Grandchildren: Storm and Drew,

Brothers: James R. Harrison of Ashford,
Gerry P. Harrison of Ashford and
Terry M. Harrison of Cross Lanes and

Many special nieces and nephews.

She loved her dogs and her animals.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday March 10, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Richard Runyan officiating. Burial will follow in Courtney Cemetery, Ashford. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
