Nancy L. Jarrell Sutphin, 80 of Marmet died January 27, 2018.

She was a graduate of East Bank High School and was a loving mother. She served alongside her husband who was mayor of Marmet for many years. She loved the Lord and had a kind heart, rescuing many dogs over the years.

She was preceded in death by Husband: Curtis Sutphin,
Daughter: Jill Renee Sutphin,
Son: Mark Edward Sutphin,
Parents: Simeon and Myrtle Cooper Jarrell,
Brothers: James, Barney, Douglas, Donnie and Kermel Jarrell and
Sister: Ruth L. Moore.

Surviving Are:

Son: Curtis Michael Sutphin of Marmet,

Grandchildren: Zachary (Emily) Sutphin of Hurricane and
Taylor (Scott) Ray at Scott Air Force Base, O'Fallon, IL,

Great Grandson: Liam Ray and

Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Funeral 1 p.m. Thursday February 1, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Calvin L. Sutphin II officiating. Burial will follow in Marmet Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association 1248 Greenbrier St. Charleston, WV 25311.
