Mildred “Dink” Knapp, 92 of Hernshaw went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2017 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and she especially loved family cookouts and get togethers.

She was preceded in death by Husband: Jerald V. Knapp,
Son: Timothy Knapp,
Parents: William and Daisy Williams Dew,
Brothers: John Windsor Dew and the Rev. James Dew,
Sisters: Margaret Wills, Anna Belle Titlow, Virginia McComas and Mary Clark.

Surviving Are:

Sons and their wives: Jerald Ray and Delores Knapp and
Larry and Sonja Knapp all of Winifrede,

Daughter and husband: Nancy and Richard Justice of Weston,

Brother: William Dew of Kanawha City,

Sister: Wanda Gaye Postalwaite of Charleston,

Grandchildren and their spouses: Pam and Rick Burka, Kerri and David Kaiser, Leon and Barbara Knapp, Laura and John Pozega, Mechelle Baldwin and Adam and Abby Justice.

14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday September 9, 2017 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with her grandson Rev. Adam Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
