Carlos Edward Sutphin II, 78 of Hernshaw formerly of Chesapeake died August 5, 2017.

He retired from WV Department of Highways was a former employee of Moses Cadillac, Charleston. He loved to paint cars.

He was preceded in death by Wife: Juanita Sutphin,
Sons: James and Kevin Sutphin,
Father: Carlos Sutphin,
Mother: Nellie Jane Adkins Sutphin,
Brothers: Ronald Sutphin and James and Leonard King.

Surviving Are:

Sons: Eddie (Tonya) Sutphin of Chesapeake,
Bruce Allen (Melissa) Sutphin of Chesapeake,

Grandchildren: Anita, Brooke, Brice and Brayden Sutphin,

Great Granddaughter: Addisyn Bush,

Step Grandchildren: Matthew, Kelsey and Nick Legg,

Sisters: Charlotte Atkins of Chesapeake,
Victoria Black of Chesapeake and

Special Nephews: David Lloyd and Terry Black.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Cornell Byers officiating. Burial will follow in Marmet Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
