Phyllis Jean Dickens Neary, 68 of Belle went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2016 at home after a long fight with cancer.

Born in Kayford, WV on May 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie Dickens. She was a 1965 graduate of East Bank High School and was a member of the Shrewsbury Church of God. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by son: Jamie Neary.

Surviving Are:

Ex-Husband and Friend of 50 years: Reggie Neary.

Granddaughter: Cassandra Pritt and

Great Nieces who affectionately called her Nana: Cierra (David) Yeager Atkinson and Megan Yeager,

Brothers: Ron (Brenda), Jim (Gaye) and Bill Dickens,

Sisters: Margie King, Donna Grounds and Pat (Willis) Pettry.

Special Friends: Dottie Blankenship and Tammy Lemasters and many other family and friends.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday April 2, 2016 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Doug Neary and Rev. Jack Pittman officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday April 1, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
