Charles Overbaugh, 93 of Chesapeake went home to be with the Lord on February 18, 2015 at Happy Haven Personal Care Home in Charleston where he resided for the past two months and was treated with much respect and love by Shila, D.J. Angel and Andrea.
Charles and his daughters were all treated as family by owner Kristie Wisner.

Charles was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA and also was a retired minister.

He was preceded in death by Wife: Mary Rose Hersman Overbaugh,
Son: Keith Allen Overbaugh,
Parents: Grover and Rena Short Overbaugh,
Brothers: Everette and Jerry Overbaugh and
Sisters: Marie Drake, Della Drake, Doris Rutter and Shirley Farren.

Surviving Are:

Daughters: Janet Armentrout and her husband Frankie of Chesapeake
Joyce Prater of Oak Hill

Grandchildren: Keith Prater (Tracy) of Fredericksburg, VA
Mark Prater (Teresa) of Gap Mills,
Mary Beth Hughes (Keith) of Hernshaw
Frankie Lee Armentrout (Tina) of Chesapeake

Great Grandchildren: Nathan Smith, and Michael and Cora Prater, all of Gap Mills
And Chloe Hughes of Hernshaw

Special Great Grandson: Cody Rodriguez of Chesapeake

Clifford (Lynda) Overbaugh of Quincy,
Jack (Charlotte) Overbaugh of Nitro,

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday February 21, 2015 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, WV with Rev. Mark Prater officiating. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery, Left Hand Fork, Lens Creek.
