James Robert Nalle, 49 of Dry Branch went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2014 at home after a battle with Leukemia.

He was a retired clerk from the U.S. Postal Service. He was 1983 graduate of East Bank High School and was a graduate of WVU Tech at Montgomery. He was an avid WVU Mountaineer Sports Fan.

He was preceded in death by Father: Jerry W. Nalle,


Surviving Are:

His Wife: Shirley White Nalle of Dry Branch.

He was an amazing father to Amanda (Phil) Crowder of Charleston, Sarah (Chad) Chambers of Cross Lanes and Robert “B.J.” Ward of Dry Branch.

He was also an outstanding and compassionate Grandfather to Kaleb and Khloe Crowder and Makena and Cyler Chambers.

Also surviving Are: Mother: Joyce Nalle of East Bank,

Sister: Sandra (Brad) Curry of East Bank,

And Special Niece: Nikki Pullen.



Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday March 1, 2014 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Tom Burnside officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday February 28, 2014 at the Funeral Home.
