Obituary for Howard Frank O'neal

Howard Frank  O'neal
Howard Frank O’Neal, 73, of Eskdale died December 8, 2012 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

He retired from Guardsmark Security, Belle and was a former employee of Tag Galyean Imports. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Charleston American Legion Post. He was a Member of Eskdale Baptist Church and was an active member and former chief of the Cabin Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
He was an avid CB user, communicating under the name “Painter”.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Howard Luther and Catherine Howery O’Neal,
Brothers: Wayne, Russell and Johnny O’Neal,

Surviving Are:

Wife: Elizabeth “Betty” Hamilton O’Neal of Eskdale,

Daughters: Tammy (Terry) Cabell of Ronda,
Lahoma Joyce (Mark) Skinner of Ormond Beach, FL,
Deidra (Butch) Layton of St. Albans,
Sharon (James) Noe of Richmond, KY,
Shannon (Gavin) O’Meara of Rock Hill, SC,

Grandchildren: Terry M. Patterson, Chastity Martiniz, Bryan Machowicz,
Kimberly and Ashley Noe and Sierra Layton,

4 Great Grandchildren,

Sisters: Debbie Elliott and Kay and Brenda McCoy all of Chesapeake


Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Louie Jeffrey officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans Charitible Service Trust 3725 Alexandria Pike Cold Spring, KY 41076.
