Obituary for Rita Green
Rita Y. Green 71, of Charleston, WV, passed away peacefully in her home on November 17, 2023.
On September 17, 1952, Rita was born in Cabin Creek, WV to the late David and Leota Bledsoe. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Green, her parents Leota and David Bledsoe, her brothers Charles and Chris Bledsoe, and sisters Tammy Hill and Nanette Mullins.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Green of Charleston; grandchildren, Trey (Emilee) Green of Pratt; Jayla Green (Francisco) of Saint Albans; great grandchildren, Karter and Brentlee; pet, Maggie Moo; sisters, Judy (Larry) Smith of Charleston, Delores Greenwood of Charleston, and a host of friends that loved her unconditionally.
Per her request, her body has been donated to WVU Medicine and there will be no funeral services held.
