Barbara Jean Dotson, 59 of Bloomingrose died November 14, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was preceded in death by first husband: Harlen Dotson, father: Boyd Eugene Steele, stepfather: Gilbert Cook and sisters: Brenda Sue Elmore and Deborah Lynn Ferrell.
Surviving is her husband: Roy Dean Milam of Bloomingrose, son: Harlen Dotson Jr.,daughters: Susan Castle, Juanita May and Bobbie Bench all of Comfort and Missy Hubbard of Texas, mother: Shelby Jean Fernatt Cook of Charleston, brothers: Christopher Douglas (Jessica) Cook of Kenna, Boyd Eugene Steele Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Charles Wayne Steele of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Leonard Lee Steele of Montgomery, sisters: Mary Steele of Belle, Linda Steele of Belle and Kathy Steele of Oregon, grandchildren: Brittany, Samuel, Timmy, Hailey, Patrick, Brandon, Tasha, Isaiah, Allison, Leroy Jr., Levi, Alex, Juanita, Sierra, Ethan, Jordan, Sonny, Breanna, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A memorial service will held 1 p.m. Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Minister Donald Pauley officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
