Obituary for Wayne Hodges
Robert Wayne Hodges, 66 of Dry Branch died November 3, 2023 at the home of his sister Beverly Holstein.
He retired from CSX Railroad after many years of service. He was a 1977 graduate of East Bank High School and attended Dry Branch Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by wife: Bonnie Yvonne Rose Hodges, granddaughter: Skylar Torres, parents: Robert and Clorenia “Red” Green Hodges, brothers: Arnold and Larry Green, sister: Deborah Green, sister in law: Jeanette Green and brother in law: Hayes Holstein.
Surviving are daughters: Tiffany Clorenia Adkins of Marmet, Monica (J.D.) Torres of Rand, son: Joe (Jennifer) Settle of Charleston, brothers: Norman (Lisa) Hodges of Dry Branch, Gary (Judy) Green of Thornville, OH, David Gene (Brenda) Green of Dry Branch, sister: Beverly Green Holstein of Dry Branch, companion: Heather Romeo of Dawes, grandchildren: Codie, Kearstyn, Kash Lynn and Remington Adkins, Marty Kinder, Grayson, Jayse, Peyton and Gracelynn Torres and Joseph “Boogie”, J.D. and Jadyn Settle and great grandchildren: Hayes, Jones and Henleigh Settle and many friends.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday November 9, 2023 at Dry Branch Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. John Cantley officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the Church.
