Johnny Matthew Dickens Jr., 57 of Marmet died October 7, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was a longtime automobile salesman, most recently with Moses in St. Albans and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by father: Johnny Dickens Sr. and brothers: David, Robert and Eugene Dickens.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years: Marion Allen Dickens of Marmet, sons: Brandon (Lashay) Dickens of Gauley Bridge, Jason (Makayla) Dickens of Augusta, ME, Cory (Chasidy) Dickens of Beckley, Austin Wheelis of Louisville, KY, Gavin Dickens of Marmet, daughters: Chelsa Hunter of FL, Amber Wheelis of Louisville, KY, sisters: Sue (Curt) Calloway of Marmet, Jennifer Hughes Nichols of Marmet, many grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday October 14, 2023 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Curtis Calloway and Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Per his wishes, he will be cremated after the service.
