Obituary for Savanna Leeann Pettry
Savanna Leeann Pettry, 31 of Colcord passed away on April 10, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born September 20, 1991 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, the daughter of Delores Bearfield Cox and the late Freddy Pettry. Savanna was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by nephew: Micheal Pugh and grandparents: Lucille and Harrison Pettry and Opal and Robert Bearfield Sr.
Savanna is survived by her her children: Aubrey Peaytt, Autumn Peaytt, Samuel Peaytt and Jordan Peaytt, mother: Delores Bearfield Cox of Whitesville, siblings: Jessica (Emeral) Hensley of Colcord, Wyoma Pettry of Charleston, Jeremy (Hope) Pettry of Oceana, Preston (Brittany) Pettry of Hemet, CA, David (Heather) Cox of Rock Creek, Shannon Burdette of Bedford, VA, Dale (Lesley) Holstein of Charlotte, NC, Wanda (Mike) Jenkins of Richmond, VA and Amanda (Thomas) Booth of Bedford, VA. She was also loved and will be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday April 21, 2023 at the Pentecostal Freedom Church, Ameagle with Rev. Jeff Shea officiating. A dinner will immediately follow the service at the Church. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
