He was a coal truck driver.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years: Donna Caldwell Vest of Hernshaw, daughter: Chrystal (Bobby) Hughes of Chesapeake, grandchildren: Dustin (Chasity) Hughes of Clendenin, Brianna Hughes of Chesapeake and the loves of his life, great grandchildren: Bryson and Ryder Hughes.
Graveside service and burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday April 5, 2023 at Mitchell Cemetery, Left Hand Fork, Lens Creek where family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
