Jack V. Ferrell Sr., 80 of Orgas made Heaven his home on March 22, 2023.
He was a strip miner and heavy equipment operator and was a wonderful husband and father.
He was preceded in death by son: Jack “Von” Ferrell Jr., parents: Sterling “Joe” and Beulah Todd Ferrell, sister: Norma Stover and brother: Jerry Ferrell.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years: Sharlon Brown Ferrell of Orgas, son: Michael (Sherry) Ferrell of Elkview, brothers: Rodney (Ella Faye) Ferrell of Whitesville, Leroy (Penny) Ferrell of Orgas, sisters: Violet (Danny) Pettit of Orgas, Loretta (Larry) Kinder of Orgas, sister in law: Debbie Ferrell of Elkview, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many other family and friends.
Per his wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday April 8, 2023 at Keith Full Gospel Church with Rev. June Ferrell officiating. Family will receive friends at the Church beginning at Noon.
