James David Lacy of Chesapeake left the treasure of his earthly vessel behind on the evening of Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 36 years of age.
A son, father, brother, friend and love has passed over.
Surviving are: father: Daniel Joe Lacy of Burnsville, mother and stepfather: Neal and Sherry Toppings Carney of Winifrede, maternal grandmother: Violet Toppings of Big Creek, daughters: Zoey Lynn Lacy of Martinsburg and Olivia Hope Jacobs of Marmet and brother: Cody Lacy of Erie, PA.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a meal for family and friends will begin 3 p.m. Monday March 20, 2023 at Winifrede Community Church immediately followed by a memorial visitation from 5 to 6:30 p.m. A eulogy will then follow that at 6:30 p.m. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
