Samantha Jo Smith-Parmelee, 44 of Emmons went to be with the Lord on February 21st, 2023.

She leaves behind her loving husband Charles Parmelee, son Joseph P. Smith, and daughters Savana E. Smith, and Ashleigh N. Parmelee. She also leaves behind her father, Robert Graley Sr. She is proceeded in death by her brothers Robert Graley Jr, Andrew Graley, and her mother Lavanis Graley.

Samantha Jo Smith was a kindred spirit to all she met . She loved all things in nature and found beauty in everything and everyone she met. She had the most strength in a person that we ever seen. She loved her family with her whole heart and soul and dedicated all her time to them. She will be missed dearly. Every time we see a yellow rose shall its glowing color remind us of her glowing smile.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday March 4, 2023 at Emmons Church of God with Rev. Michael Graley officiating. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
