Obituary for Kennith Gene Jarrell
Kennith Gene Jarrell, 66 of Van passed away January 31, 2023 at the home of his VA caregiver Marilyn Williams.
He was born July 17, 1956, a son of the late Claude and Loretta Ratcliff Jarrell. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Rogers Wrecker Service for many years. He was also a member of Van Fire Department. He enjoyed reading western novels, especially Louis L’Amour. He loved John Wayne movies and working crossword, cryptogram and sudoku puzzles.
Also preceding him in death was his brother: Claude “Chuckie” Jarrell.
Surviving are children: Cassandra Jarrell, Noah (Ally Paul) Jarrell and Zoie (Cameron Maynard) Jarrell, granddaughter: Alessa Stone, sister: Gail (Phil) Ray, nieces; Brandy (Jason) Conrad, Lora Beth Burns, Suzanne Cole and nephews: Scottie and David Cook.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
