Sandra Jean Burgess, 58 of Cedar Grove died December 31, 2022 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by husband: David Burgess Sr., daughter: Brandy Petry and parents: Woodrow and Edna Means Smith.
Surviving are sons: Joseph (Tonya) Smith of Cabin Creek, David (Crystal) Burgess Jr. of Winfield, Jesse (Courtney) Burgess of Cedar Grove, Allen Burgess of Cabin Creek, daughters: Lacey (Travis) Carpenter of Sissonville, Macey (Mauricio) Burgess of Belle, sister: Tammy Smith of Alum Creek, brothers: Larry (Jeannie) Smith of Cabin Creek, Lewis (Linda) Smith of Lincoln County and many grandchildren.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet.
