She was a 1960 graduate of Sherman High School, Seth where she was an honor student and majorette. Marge loved Elvis, westerns, traveling and camping. She was an avid reader and collector of tea pots and angels. Marge loved to bake and she was known for the thousands of decorated cookies she gave out at Christmas time.

Marge dearly loved her family, especially her husband of 60 years, Carmel E. Barker, who took wonderful care of her through her many illnesses. Carmel and Marge were high school sweethearts and knew the true meaning of love. She adored her children: Carmen (Bert) Wendling of Blanchard, OK, Tamei (Dwain) Blake of Shellman’s Bluff, GA, Paula (Jeff) Floyd of Blanchard, OK and Eric (Jenny) Barker of Charleston. Marge was blessed with ten grandchildren: Cameron, Dakota, Eric Michael, Olivia, Michaela, Dalton, Seneca, Dylan, Mason and Kaylea and nine great grandchildren: Rhett, Kate, Jack, Ellie Jo, Dawsyn, Lydia, Stella, Elle, and John Brooks. Marge is also survived by her beloved brother: Eddie (Dreama) Peros, sister in law: Sue Peros and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins, especially Frances Jenkins, Barbara King and Sharon Toney, who were like sisters. She also leaves behind many other extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank TiAnna Toney and Marylea Seacrest for the exceptional care and love they provided to our Momma and to the numerous other family and friends who visited.
