Obituary for Barbara Kay Rhodes
Barbara Kay Rhodes, 74 of Sissonville died July 25, 2022 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was a waitress at many local eateries including Andy’s in Charleston and Rule’s Drive In and the Dairy Post in Marmet.
She was preceded in death by Husband: Farley Rhodes, Daughter: Tammy Rhodes, Son: Paul Allen Mullins, Parents: Donald and Reba Gillispie McCormick and Sister Joyce Gillispie.
Surviving Are: Daughter: Reba “Sissy” (Marty) Holstein of Hernshaw, Son: Farley Allen Rhodes of Charleston, Grandson: Paul Allen Murphy of Sissonville and Granddaughter: Susan Mullins of Jacksonville, FL.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
