Phillip Preston White Sr., 65 of Hernshaw died July 7, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was an excellent mechanic and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a good pool player and advanced to the National Billiards Finals in Las Vegas, NV in 2010.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Max K. and Barbara D. Fraker White and Sister: Sherry Hefner.
Surviving Are: Son: Phillip Preston White Jr. of Hernshaw, Daughter: April May (Delilah) White of Sumerco, Sister: Debbie (Troy) Sneed of Witcher, Brothers: Mark (Melissa) White of Mahan, Allen Ray (Christina) White of Gallagher and several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Funeral is 12:30 p.m. Thursday July 14, 2022 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help pay for funeral expenses.
