Richard Allen Canterbury, 81 of Ashford died May 20, 2022 at home.
He was a lifelong resident of Ashford and was a longtime veterinary assistant.
He was preceded in death by Parents: James Elmer and Garnett Price Canterbury, Sister: Evelyn Canterbury Fazio and Nephew: William Taylor Canterbury.
Surviving are:
Brother: Darrell Canterbury of Ashford,
Niece: Debra Crockett of Hernshaw and
Nephew: Kevin Canterbury of Jackson County.
He will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date where his ashes will be interred at Barker Cemetery, Ashford. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
