Woody William Goins Sr., 79 of Winifrede went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2022 at home.

Woody worked in the coal mines for years at Bethlehem Steel and Cedar Coal Company where he retired. He was a loving husband and father and loved to hunt and fish every chance he got. He loved spending time with his wife Barbara and sons, daughters in law and grandkids and great grandkids.

Woody was born January 14, 1943 to the late Harry and Juanita Smith Goins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Goins.

Left to cherish his memories are: Wife: Barbara J. Fleck Goins, Sons: Woody W. (Debra) Goins Jr., Kevin R. (Janci) Goins, Brother: Buddy Goins, Grandchildren: Megan Goins Mooney, Travis A. Goins, Brianna Goins, Dylan Goins, Great Grandchildren: Logan and Chase Mooney, Axl Goins, Six Nieces and Three Nephews.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday May 6, 2022 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Pastor Timmy Cooper officiating. Visitation is 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
