Obituary for Charles Grant Means

Charles Grant "Charlie" Means, 38 of Charleston passed away April 19, 2022.

Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outside. He was a brilliant stone mason and took utmost pride in his work. Charlie had a quiet temperament but a louder than life love, especially for his family and close friends. He loved his kids and family deeply. Anyone who truly knew Charlie was impacted greatly. For many years Charlie struggled with drug use and mental health issues, and as a result his life was cut short. Those who love Charlie knew this, but refused to let it define him or skew the good memories of him. The family asks for prayers during this difficult time.

He was preceded in death by Maternal Grandmohter: Emogene Kilgore, Uncles: Greg Honaker, Jim Kilgore and Aunt: Rosie Fulks.

Surviving are his Sons: Andrew and Evan Means of Wallback, Parents: Bradley and Kimberli Kilgore Means of Charleston, Brothers: Ronald (Rachel) Means, Daniel Means and Joshua Means all of Charleston and Mike (Alicia) Means of Florida, Sister: Mindy (Andy) Means of Charleston, Paternal Grandmother: June Means of Dunbar, Paternal Grandfather: David Means of Poca, Uncles: Scott Means of Elkview, John Means of Washington, PA, Rusty Means of Charleston, Bill Kilgore of Keene, TX, Charles Kilgore of South Charleston, Aunt: Sue Honaker of Deltona, FL, the mother of his children: Lora Means of Wallback and many friends.
