He was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service at South Charleston and was a graduate of WV Institute of Technology.
Surviving Are: His son: Trenton Joie Workman of Kanawha City, Parents: Melvin Joie and Kim Anh Workman of Hernshaw, Sisters: Lorie (Rick) Hunt of Kanawha City, Linda (Serge) Emelkina of Knoxville, TN, Nieces and Nephews: Lindsey, Katelin and Ricky Hunt, Nicholas Emelkin and Anna Emelkina.
A private graveside service and burial will be held in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. There will be no visitation. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
