Obituary for William Franklin "Frankie" Toney
William Franklin “Frankie” Toney Jr., 56 of Scarbro died February 11, 2021 at the Hubbard Hospice Unit at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He enjoyed spending time with his numerous friends. He loved western shows and movies and enjoyed fishing and playing card games. He was a loyal son and was a dedicated caregiver to his mother and father.
He was preceded in death by Mother: Roxie Jane Blankenship Newhouse,
Father: William Franklin “Doc” Toney Sr. and
Sister: Cindy Lou Thompson.
Surviving Are:
Daughter: Kristen (Dennis Adkins) Thompson of Scarbro,
Grandchildren: Kalib and Hayley Fish, John Mark and Joseph Thompson, Anna and Sara Adkins,
A niece, two nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help pay for funeral expenses.
