James “Nubbin” Vance, 51 of Winifrede died February 7, 2021 at Teays Valley Center, Hurricane.

He was a good mechanic and loved to detail cars.

He was preceded in death by Wife: Janet “Neen” Alderman Vance,
Mother: Camella Jean Alderman Shepherd,
Step-mother: Margaret Sue Workman Vance and
Niece: Chelsea McCormick.

Surviving Are:

Daughter: Ashley (Chris) Vance of Winifrede,

Father: Jesse James “Butch” Vance of Winifrede,

Brothers: Willie (Tammy) Vance of Winifrede,
Wendell (Jennifer) Vance of Winifrede,

Companion: Lynn Tucker of Winifrede,

Step-daughter: Samantha Tucker of Winifrede,

Grandchildren: Hayley Miller, Ashton Vance, Tristan Arthur,

Uncle: David "Butch" Alderman of Winifrede and

A host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday February 12, 2021 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. Burial will follow in Massey Cemetery, Winifrede. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
