Obituary for Trenton Jamie Platt

Trenton Jamie “T.J.” Platt, 20 of Peytona went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2021.

Born February 21, 2000, Trent was very free spirited. He loved his family and friends. His hobbies were cars, music, travelling and being a dedicated foodie. His dream was to go to school to be a lineman. He was an employee of NAPA Auto Parts in Kanawha City and loved being a big brother as well as a father. He loved gaming, especially “Call of Duty.” Trent was the type to call you from one city and be in a completely different state the next time you talked to him. He always lived for “the next great adventure.” He had a smile that could melt his mother’s heart but it made you wonder if he was happy to see you or if he was really up to something. If you really knew Trent, you’ll know what I mean. His grandfather Allen Rich played such an important role in his life and was his biggest supporter and friend. How deeply my son will be missed and he will always live on in our hearts. We are going to miss you, but we will see you again.

He was preceded in death by Grandfathers: Virgil Jarrell and Jimmy Austin, Grandmother: Carrie Jarrell.
