Obituary for Randall Lee McDerment
Randall Lee McDerment, 58 of Ashford went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston after a cardiac arrest.
He was born February 15, 1962, the son of Walter and Janet Tyler McDerment.
He was preceded in death by his beloved brother: Walter P. “Bubby” McDerment Jr., grandparents: Lakin and Inza Adkins McDerment, Elvie “Slim” and Virginia Young Tyler and several aunts and uncles that he loved dearly.
Randall loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his side by side. He also loved music…the louder the BETTER!
Along with his parents, those left to cherish his memory are: sisters: Inza (John) Hapney of Sylvester, Tresa (Kevin) Cantley of Comfort, Milisa (Terry) Ball of Ashford, aunts: Lillian Carris Crowfoot, Jewel McDerment, Vera Pritchett, Della (Lucky) Gill, Patty Tyler Dangerfield,uncles: Tommy, Lonnie and Elvie Paul Tyler, nieces and nephews: Walter P. McDerment III, Ashley, Amy, Tabatha, Travis, Wayne, Ben, Hannah and Kevin Ryan, great nieces and nephews: Madi, Kaitlin, Tyler, Maytasha, Logan, Brayden, Cameron, Grayson, Randall, Alexa, Collin, Kinsley, Connor, Jax, Christa, Lynnlee, Abel, Ray, Kaden and a host of friends that he considered family: Patricia Jarboe, Ronald Crose, Jodi Bobbit, Grandma Violet Hager, Jerry Turner, Rita Javins and Paul and Rose Perry.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday July 9, 2020 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. Burial will follow in McDerment Cemetery, Ashford. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday July 8, 2020 at the Funeral Home.
