Matilda Jane “Janie” Smith, 76 of Marmet died April 4, 2020 at home.
She was a former employee of University of Michigan Hospital and she was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by Husband: Larry A. “Red” Smith,
Parents: Ellis and Iona Ward Booth,
Sister: Okie Casto and
Brothers: William Gene and Joseph Booth.
Surviving Are:
Daughters: Jessica Brogan of Charleston,
Paula (Willie) Buffington of Prenter,
Son: Michael (Patsy) Smith of Minnesota,
9 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private family memorial graveside service will be held at a later date in Mitchell Cemetery, Left Hand Fork, Lens Creek. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
