May Lea Barker, 81 of Sevierville, TN formerly of Ridgeview passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday July 3, 2019. She went home to be with her Lord, husband and family members that were awaiting her arrival.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a hard worker in her life and had many jobs over the years; working in a clothing factory in Cleveland, OH, serving as a hostess in several restaurants and working in retail clothing stores among others.

She was preceded in death by Husband: Frank W. Barker,

Special great granddaughter: Madyson Little,
Parents: Daniel and Nellie Barker Ellis,
Two Sisters and One Brother.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday July 7, 2019 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with her grandson Rev. Adam Adkins and her daughter Rev. Brenda Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Holstein Cemetery, Dartmont. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
