Obituary for Jerry Robert Kinder
Jerry R. Kinder, age 71, passed away March 2, 2018 in Michigan.
Jerry was the beloved husband of Cindy Kinder for 33 years; loving father of Denise (Robert) Nutaitis, Diana (Robbie Nejmeh) Bowers, James (Nicki Pillon) Kinder, and Rachel Kinder; devoted grandpa of the late Jessica Bowers, Alexandria Gunst, Christian Kinder, Robert Nutaitis Jr., Jacob Nutaitis, Kaitlynn Nejmeh, and Lucas Kinder; proud great-grandpa of Aleena O'Connor, Josephine Kinder and Madeleine Rebecca-Lynn Kinder.
Jerry was also predeceased by his parents, James and Ruby Kinder, and siblings, Dallas Kinder, Jack Kinder, Jimmy Kinder, Dorothy Little, Louise Swanger, and Mary Tudor.
Jerry was proud of his service in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for General Motors for 33 years in many capacities. Jerry loved spending his time in the outdoors. He loved to go on his hunting trips. Other passions of his included card games and western movies. A truly kind soul is one that can love all of God's creations, and he showed that trait as an enthusiastic animal lover.
Graveside service and interment of ashes will be 1 p.m. Saturday May 25, 2019 at Kinder Cemetery, Brushton with military graveside rites conducted by a U.S. Army honors team and Daniel Boone VFW post 5578, Madison. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
