James Lewis Berry, 49 of Charleston died February 15, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

He was a self employed contractor. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Nascar fan and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by Parents: James Eugene and Deloris Richmond Berry and
Nephew: Timbo Withrow.

Surviving Are:

Son: Shawn Paul (Meredith) Berry of Smithers,

Daughters: Madison Leigh (Nathaniel Cofer) Berry of Elkview,
Celina Rose Berry of Charleston,

Grandchildren: Juliana and Coal McNabb,

Sisters: Katherine (Tiger) Charcandy of Charleston,
Tabatha Bailey of Charleston,

Brothers: Ronald Edward McCormick of Charleston,
Timothy Shane Miller of Charleston,
Larry Thomas (Michelle) Keeling Jr. of Charleston and

Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday February 23, 2019 at South Ruffner Freewill Baptist Church. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help pay funeral expenses.

I Love You very very much forever and always with all my heart and soul. You show me signs everyday that you are and always will be with me. You was my rock, my world and I just don't know how I'm going to live my life without you. Now your not in anymore pain and I know your happy now that your with your mom again cause I know you missed her so much. I will always be yours James Berry. You have my heart forever. I love you and I'll be with you again one day soon.

Love you James ... We were really close and tight during our childhood spending so much time together I wish time never separated us especially me moving to Florida. I even miss the crazy times getting arrested in South Charleston Kroger for public intoxication me,you ,Larry K I was the only one 18 😂 ..God has blessed so many of us with great memories..Always like a brother ❤️I will never forget you ..My heart always had a place for you and it will be there till we meet again..I love you Cuzz !!
