Roy Roe, 71 of Hernshaw left this earth for a better life on December 17, 2018 after a short illness.
Roy was a construction worker and was an avid WVU and Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in death by Son: Roy Roe Jr.,
Parents: Tommy and Effie Stepman Roe and
Sister in law: Diane Carr.
Left to cherish his memory are:

Daughter in law: Karen Roe of Hernshaw,
Grandchildren: Amber Roe of Hernshaw,
Alex Patton of North Carolina,
Cierra Henderson of Hernshaw,
Kaytlin Roe of Ashford,
Brothers: Willie Roe,
Alan (Sharon) Roe,
Jeff Roe and
Sisters: Martha Huff and
Mimi (Doc) all of Texas,
Brother in law: Bill Carr of Ohio,
Sisters in law: Henrietta (Frank) of Hernshaw and
Joanne Carr of Ohio,
Many nieces and nephews and
His dog Cody who was his best buddy.
Roy is also survived by many close friends, whom he considered family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vidal and the staff of Kanawha Hospice for their wonderful care and support.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday December 20, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Keith Messer officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
