Cecil Ray Morgan, 81 of Hernshaw died November 10, 2018 at Home.

He retired from Valley Camp Coal Company, Shrewsbury and was a member of UMWA. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Avory and Dona Jordan Morgan,
Brothers: George, Bill, Tucker “Tuck” and Charles “Chug” Morgan and
Sisters: Betty Meadows and Ruth Matheney.

Surviving Are:

Son: Mark (Peggy) Morgan of Hernshaw,

Step Grandson: Chad Smith of Chesapeake and

Brother: Richard Morgan of Columbus, OH.


Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday November 15, 2018 in the Chapel at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday November 14, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet where a procession will leave for the cemetery promptly at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday November 15th.
