Opal Uldine Harless, 93 of Morgantown died June 14, 2016 at home. She was a Homemaker and a Protestant and enjoyed quilting, cooking and crossword puzzles. She made quilts for the Morgantown Ronald McDonald House for the WVU Hospital Children’s Families and many others for family members and friends which she presented to them as yearly presents. She loved to reminisce with family and friends and could tell stories for hours without ever repeating the same one. She was preceded in death by Husband: Fred Gilbert Harless, Daughter: Janette Rorror, Parents: James Maloney and Florence Louise Webb Scarbro, Sisters: Lillian Marcum and Virginia Holstein and Brother: Rev. Paul Scarbro, Granddaughter: Heather Brown Redden, Grandson: Christopher Dan Halstead, Surviving Are: Daughters: Melica Idler of Morgantown, Katherine (Jim) Doss of Morgantown, Pamela Jane (Randy) Halstead of Peytona, Patricia (Arnold Jr.) Darnell of Maben, Geneva Harless of Peytona, Sharon Marks of Kingwood, Sons: Fred (Connie) Harless Jr. of Danville and John (Barbara) Harless of Twin Poplars, Brother: James Alvin Scarbro of Sylvester, Grandchildren: Ray and Mary Katherine Crawford, John, Rodney, J.R. and Dustin Harless, Andrea and Parker Idler, Amanda Doss (Chris) Connolly, Shannon Marie Brown, Amber Wilkinson (Jason) Castle, Roger and Michael Rorrer, Great Grandchildren: Austin, Adreona, Aidan, Jessica Ann, Ryan, Nevaeh, Natalie, Lucas, Micah, Makayla, David, Jessica, Juliann, Dessalyn Numerous other family members and friends. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday June 18, 2016 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet. Burial will follow in Harless Cemetery, Arnett, WV.
