Obituary for Johnny Ray Allen

Johnny Ray Allen, 67 of Colcord died October 27, 2018 at Doug and Lucy Bowers Hospice House, Beckley.

He was a former coal miner and CSX Railroad Taxi Driver. He was a member of Sycamore Free Pentecostal Church of God and was an avid Mountaineer fan. He also loved to hunt and to make people laugh.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Orville and Myrtle French Allen,
Sisters: Joy Stover, Agnes White and Kitty Dingess and
Brother: Bill Allen.

Surviving Are:

Son: Johnny (Erika) Allen Jr. of Stickney,

Daughter: Amanda (Roy) Sheppard of Seth,

Grandchildren: Amy, Jonathon, Alyssa, Cheyenne, Jacob, Abby, Levi, Launa, Samuel, Chelsea, Caitlyn, Neveah, Emily, Maci and Gavin,

Great Grandchildren: Arabella, Raelynn, Steven, Daniel, Lucas, Abel and Ashlyn,

The love of his life: Donna Harper of Bolt,

Brothers: Larry (Jean) Allen of Sycamore,
J.B. Allen of Whitesville,
Eugene (Lois) Allen of Fairdale,

Sisters: Arlene “Fuzzy” (Mike) Farley of Dorothy and
Louise Harris of Dorothy.

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday November 3, 2018 at The Gospel Lighthouse Church, Sundial with Rev. John Buchanan officiating. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
