Condolences & Tributes

We encourage you to share any memorable photos or stories about Billy . All tributes placed on and purchased through this memorial website will remain on in perpetuity for future generations.

My condolences to your entire family on the passing of your dear loved one. Bill was a great man to me, this town & my family. He served the Town of Marmet in so many good ways. I know he is singing with God's Heavenly Choir now. I have one of his record albums when he sang with the "Happy Valley Boys". I loved to hear him sing. He will surely be missed. Love & Prayers to all of the family & God Bless!

My heartfelt condolences to Billy's family during this difficult time. Death is truly an enemy of us all and I am so very sorry for you and your family. I hope this scripture can bring you some comfort during this time. 1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Your loved one will never have to face the last enemy, death, ever again. In the meantime, his acts of faith live on until he stands up alive and whole in the Paradise. Yes how we long to be reunited forever again.

We are so sorry about Bill's passing. He was like family to all of us for our entire lives. When our Dad lived in Marmet, Bill was so faithful and kind to him. He always made sure Dad was OK. We could never have thanked him enough for that. God bless you and comfort you during this time.

So very Sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Having been raised, lived and worked on the Fire Dept. and Ambulance Service in Marmet, I knew Bill personally. He loved the People and the Town. He enjoyed holding Office all those years. If anything, his time in office will probably not ever be topped. He had a beautiful voice and I imagine He is now singing among the Angels. My Heart goes out to The Family.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I played Bingo in Marmet for several years and got to know him there. I also have a CD that he gave me of gospel music. He was a a nice and very kind person to everyone. My prayers go out to all of his family. I am sure he will be missed but I know he will rest in peace in Heaven.

My father really enjoyed the times that Bill would come to our house and sing. That was so very uplifting for my father Jesse S. Barker, as he was a stroke victim and it was hard for him to be able to go to very many places.
I also enjoyed his music. My prayers for Bill’s family.

I send my love and condolences to all the Pauley family during this sad, painful time. Bill was a wonderful, kind man. I always admired his dedication to his family, friends, faith and duties to Marmet. He was the first politician I voted for after turning 18. Patty and I drove shut-ins to the polls that otherwise wouldn't be able to vote. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories and hopefully they will bring you comfort. All my love, Cindi Nicholas-Grisham
