Barry Lloyd Holstein, 73 of Hernshaw died October 23, 2018 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston.

He was a retired coal miner and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the field artillery. He loved to hunt and be in the outdoors, especially at his camp in Roane County.

He was preceded in death by First Wife: Sandra Pauley Holstein,
Parents: Clifton and Blanche L. Clark Holstein,
Sisters: Margie Adkins and Ethel Johnson and
Brothers: Clifford and Donald Ray Holstein.

His wife of 46 years: Norma Hill Holstein of Hernshaw,

Sons: Barry (Lisa) Holstein of Cross Lanes,
Matthew (Debbie) Holstein of Harker Heights, TX,
Jason (Tricia) Holstein of Fairmont,

Grandchildren: Parker, Grace, Mason, Owen and Aurea,

Great Granddaughter: Paisley,

Brothers: Marty (Sissy) Holstein of Hernshaw,
Jerry Holstein of Hernshaw,

Sisters: Kay (James) Kirk of Hernshaw,
Joann Bentley of Toneys Branch and
Shirley Holstein of Quitman, TX

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday October 27, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Pastor Chris Holstein officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
