Ida Justine Smith, 88 of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

She was born December 15, 1929 in Costa to the late Jess and Edna Kinder Walker. She was a loving wife and mother and was a member of Greater New Jerusalem Worship Center in Kanawha City.

Also preceding her in death were Husband of 28 years: Alton Ray Smith and
Infant Son: Alton Jr.

She leaves behind one devoted daughter: Judy Anne Smith of Charleston,

Brother: James Walker of Hernshaw,

Special Uncle and Aunt: Donald and Jean Kinder of Hernshaw and

A host of nieces and cousins who loved her dearly.

A special thanks to her caregivers Judy, Kelly, Connie, Crystal and Virginia. Also thanks to Kindred Home Health and her physician Dr. Jade Smith. The family expresses their thanks to the caring staff of CAMC Memorial MICU.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday October 18, 2018 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Paul Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
