Carlos Edward “Eddie” Sutphin III, 52 of Chesapeake died September 15, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

He was a 1984 Graduate of East Bank High School and was a loving son, brother and uncle. Like his father, he had a love for automobiles.

He was preceded in death by Parents: Carlos and Juanita Ann Taylor Sutphin and
Brothers: James and Kevin Sutphin.

Surviving Are:

Companion: Tonya Legg of Chesapeake,

And their Children: Matthew, Kelsey and Nick,

Twin Grandsons: Roman and Liam,

Brother: Bruce Allen (Melissa) Sutphin of Chesapeake,

Nieces and Nephews: Anita, Brooke, Brice and Brayden and

Great Niece: Addie.


Funeral will be 6 p.m. Thursday September 20, 2018 at The Church of God of Prophecy, Hugheston with Rev. Brenda Gray officiating. Per his wishes, he will be cremated after the service. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the Church. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
