Rose Helen Davis, 79 of Marmet died July 2, 2018 at Meadow Garden Nursing Home, Rainelle.

She was a Member of Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church, Marmet and will be sadly missed by all of her church family. She was a former employee of Eplings Coffee Shop, Rules Drive Inn, Tudors Biscuit World, Knights Inn, Executive Inn and Days Inn. She was best known for her famous grilled cheese sandwiches.

She was preceded in death by Parents: Freeman and Francis Moore Morris,
Brothers: Donald, Bobby and Kermit Morris,
Sisters: Dorothy Cogar and Emma Price and
Son in Law: William Patterson.

Husband of 59 ½ years: Wallace “Pop” Davis of Marmet,

Sons: Jerry (Lisa) Davis of Winifrede,
Robert (Lisa) Davis of Mount Holly, NC,

Daughter: Shirley Patterson of Marmet,

Her Twin Sister: Jo Ellen Holt of Ronceverte,

Sisters: Nola Schoolcraft of Crawley,
Elaine (Elmer) Pritt of Fayetteville,

Brothers: Darrell (Betty) Morris of Bentree,
Carman Morris of Lizemores,
Weldon (Susie) Morris of Amherst, OH,

Grandchildren: Brittanie, Jared, Matthew, Jacob and Danielle and

11 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday July 5, 2018 at Elliott Cemetery, Lizemores. Following the burial, a memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Reynolds Memorial United Methodist Church, Marmet with Rev. Darick Biondi officiating.
