James David Kinder, 54 of Marmet died January 18, 2018 at home.

He was an employee of U.S. Steel and was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a 1981 Graduate of Sherman High School, Seth and also previously attended Marmet Junior High School and East Bank High School where he was in the Band.

He was a beloved grandson of his late Maternal Grandparents: Felix and Fay Farley and
Paternal Grandparents: Roy and Josephine Kinder.

Surviving Are:

Parents: James Roy “Sonnie” and Alice Fay “Punk” Farley Kinder of Nellis,

Brothers: John (Ness) Kinder of Weirton,
Joshua Kinder of Marmet,

Nieces and Nephews: Ross and Jennifer of Weirton and
Zakk and Layne of Nellis and

Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many Friends and Marine buddies.

Graveside service and interment of ashes will be 2 p.m. Saturday April 7, 2018 at Marmet Cemetery, Marmet, WV with Rev. Randel Kinder officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by a U.S. Marine Corps Honors Team and Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 from Madison. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
